a wood-fueled bistro

We have found that it is in our best interest to close SAMARA for the time being. We will not be offering any take away options. However, we will keep you up to date here when we are able to get back to work.

Our hearts go out to all our industry family and small businesses facing this overwhelming difficulty. We will continue to hold hope for the best for all of our friends, families and neighbors.

We appreciate all of your support during this unprecedented crisis and look forward to welcoming you back in as soon as we are able. In the meantime, we invite you to support us by purchasing a gift card in any denomination you desire. Thank you!

– Eric

Inspired by the American Craftsman movement with its focus on simplicity, originality and natural materials and the new “bistronomy” of Paris, Samara is a comfortable and intimate gathering space. We offer a menu celebrating local vegetables, sustainable seafood and heritage breed animals prepared in our wood-fueled brick oven and hearth, as well as a composed drink selection of biodynamic wines and seasonal batched cocktails. Located in the Sunset Hill neighborhood of Ballard.
